I'm not into those kinds of games either, but I only mentioned them as they are usually touted as the most popular, downloaded, or purchased.

Bejeweled was fun for me, but I think I was playing it for a different reason than a majority of players. I always wanted to get the 5 jewels in a row to create that super jewel. But, I remember that Bejeweled did have a "puzzle" version in addition and was a little different from the repetitive 3-matching style.

I'm more of a console gamer, although I have absolutely no interest in games where you have to "level up" or "turn-based battle" games. Too boring for me. I love the Metal Gear Solid series (not MGS Ac!d) or Syphon Filter and more casual games like Little Big Planet, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, etc.

I remember one part of the 1st Metal Gear Solid
Spoiler:
where you had to unplug controller #1 mid-game and re-plug it into controller #2's port to defeat the bad guy who could read your mind. And, they didn't tell you to do this in the game. You had to figure it out yourself.

Wow, I was hooked.
