non-response on navigation key

I read Mobipocket-formatted ebooks from both BAEN and Gutenberg which are stored on my Cybook drive (not the SD which never worked) about 3-4 hours a day, with the flashing refresh turned off and the auto power off set to 30 minutes. At different battery life levels I have had recurring problems turning to the next page. This happens more frequently at 40% power, but also occurs at 80%, 70%, and 60%. I have not experienced this problem at 90 or 100% power, yet. I have checked that I have pressed the navigation control button the same way with the same pressure at the times of non-response. I have also tried to vary pressure and the location that I press on the button. I still have repeated incidents of non-response. With every book I read this happens at least twice:
Press right, wait, no-response, press right, wait, no-response, press lower right corner, double page turn, press back, continue reading!
When I press on the lower right corner, I can hear a double click. It is just an annoyance that briefly interrupts my reading, but the only time it did not change the page after three tries, my battery was too low. Then it worked after a recharge.
