Sadly...

Neither of the above-mentioned techniques worked for me. I copied a PDF file into the "My Kindle Content" folder and opened K4PC, but I don't see the PDF file. What should I expect to see and where should I expect to see it?

File Explorer does not offer K4PC as an option to open a PDF file, only Adobe Reader. Do I have to manually tell File Explorer to use K4PC as a second possible binding? (I'm trying to figure out where the installer put the K4PC executable.)



Addendum: I got it working! I went into File Explorer and right-clicked on a PDF file. Then I went to "Open with" and then into the dialog that let me set an alternative PDF reader program. I set the Kindle (I should have been saying "Kindle" instead of the obsolete "Kindle for PC") software and opened the book. The Kindle software opened on my PC and displayed the book. The PDF book is now shown in my Kindle (software) Library under "Downloaded Items". Huzzah!!!
