weight can definitely be an issue. I normally read my Kindle naked at home, but leave it in the cover if I am out and about reading

the Oberons do not fold back like the medge. there is a way to prop it at a table and read, handy at a restaurant. I had a medge and it was kind of cool to fold it back and slide your hand in, this won't work like that
