I shall make a joyful noise. It is possible, however, that my neighbors might not find it so joyful...
I'm having a lot of fun playing my new guitar, running sounds through the Loop Station and overdubbing, making three and four part disharmonies (I have to call 'em as I sees 'em) and then playing along with them, experimenting with different effects.
I have a software program called "JamVox" that allows me to create hundreds of electronic guitar set-ups. There are about a dozen different amps, 16 different pedals, 14 different delays, loops, distortions, etc., and each of them customizable. There are backing tracks, drum kits that can be changed for different rhythms, even a song base. The program even allows me to change pickups to create different sounds. And of course, the hardware amp that comes with the program has its own set of controls as does my guitar.
I never realized one person could create such cacophony.
