I'm sure they execs at the Sony Reader headquarters are running around waving their hands in the air screaming.

"Stop the robots! We have to redesign the entire reader! DAVE hates the cases!"

That'll show 'em.

Really? Over the life of my 505 I've bought 4 different cases. Having to buy a new one for the T1 is no biggie - I'd probably be in the market for a new case anyway, as my main one is getting pretty beat-up looking.

It's a new device. Just because it's made by Sony and it's an ebook reader is no reason it needs to have the same form factor as the previous models.

If you want a Kindle, buy a Kindle. You'll have to buy a case for it, though, so I don't see how you'll be coming out ahead.
