translates here to:
"the relationship between mother and daughter is never easy, esp. if the mother is 43". Petite Princesse, who really is way past that age, decided this morning that she could not let me swim in peace and so drew on her brother's bedroom door. In a house we are renting and will leave in 6 weeks at the latest. I swear I'm gonna beat them all with a stick

(which I never did, do or will do)

I kind of feel like I've been run over by a truck today, lol, but I strongly agree with what kk says. This is the time that I have with her and it may not last too much longer, so I'm determined to make it quality time if I can. I'm glad we're so close, and glad that I'm able to be here to take care of her. Lots of people are not so lucky. But wow, my arms and legs are tired today!

That is the reason why I wanted to have my parents near me, so I can take care too. It is a give and take thing though, they babysit a lot for me (is it still called babysitting if I don't need it, but they insist on having their grandkids for an overnight ?

), I manage their flat here when they are not there, and have a room for them in the new house, just in case. It is a very cultural thing anyway in Spain, families stay together, so it is considered norml here (it is not in France, and certainly not normal at all in Germany). My parents make me crazy, but I love them very deeply and am very grateful for everything they gave and still give me every day. But shhhhhh, don't tell them

!
Raspberry gazpacho in one cup, water in the other. Plus a nice plate of Serrano in very fine slices, and a salad (romaine, tomato, cucumber) with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. A very nice typical Med lunch.
