Being an Englishman living in a non-English-speaking country, ebooks have been a boon to me. I started a two or three years ago with a Cybook Gen 3 then moved to the Kindle early this year when the model 3 came out. I don't use the Cybook any more.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a Samsung Galaxy SII and transferred all my books to it. I have found it very usable using Kindle for Android, unlike earlier phones I have tried. I haven't turned on my Kindle 3 since.
How did I transfer all my bought books first from Cybook to Kindle then from Kindle to the Galaxy? I invite you all to visit my web site at
[link removed. Moderator] to find out. I have just posted my software "DcBooks" there as freeware. Its a very fast, very automated ebook processor that doesn't use Python. After using it privately for a while, getting the new Android device prompted me to slicken it up for public consumption. I hope you like it.
Almost all my private programming is directed towards ebooks these days so I hope that there will be further software posts in time.
As a "lurker" on these forums for some time, it's nice to finally "open my mouth".

Thanks for listening.
