I am disappointed a major ereader company wasn't selected. This would have been a good opportunity for B&N, Sony, Kobo, etc to put their ereaders in more people's hands. Maybe they will not be used in the end. They probably won't sign the contract until after the ereader was beta tested first.

Added: No Pearl screen. Slowish processor. Not even presenting ereading at it's best. Evidently, they went for budget using a device older than the Kindle 3.
They look like they could be a clone of the K2.
