Let's bring some reality to this discussion.
1. JS Wolf you only recommend Sony's and anyone who's been here for awhile knows that so whatever.
2. You get 240MB for sideloaded books, that's a good chunk of books. Also the Nook has an excellent Archiving system for space managment, that you guys all tend to overlook
3. You have the option to simply pop in an SD card if you need more space. A 2G card is really really cheap and would be more than enough space for most people
4. Having an SD card slot allows you to control just how much memory you can have forever. Something you can't do on a kindle. To me THAT is a feature, a great one at that.
so please let's all bring this down to reality and not some "I own a kindle so I'm going to nick pick the nook" "I own a Sony so anything the nook does is the AntiChrist"
Both the Sony and the Kindle have their host of inconvience's all of which make having to pop an SD card into a slot seem like a walk in the park.
It's a simple SD card people.
