Yes, of course that's the reason! But Tablets are steadily eating into the eReader market and a Tablet owner will not bother to ALSO buy an eReader, and we will ALL be Tablet owners, by and by.
Must be different from WA, but here in Queensland you can't buy an eReader at retail very easily anywhere... only Tablets. Talk to sales staff here and they dismiss eReaders as "old stuff – Tablets killed them" (past tense!).
But, getting back to the Poll subject, e-Ink is better (eReaders) but what we like best won't matter much. It's what sells best that will determine what we end up using.
