I am in school and have to read notes that are posted online. The prof said we are welcome to transfer them to our e-reading devices (I have a Kindle 3), so I thought "perfect".
Here is one of the pages of notes:
https://cs.senecac.on.ca/~oop244/pag...t/langu_p.html
I copied it into a Word 2007 blank document and saved it as a web page, filtered. I then added it to Calibre and converted it to an epub using default settings and transferred the epub to my Kindle and had it auto-convert.
It now shows up but it's not displaying properly. Specifically, there is more text per page than shows up on the screen. When I click the turn-page button, it goes from 1% to 22%, skipping a whack. When I press the go-back-a-page button, it goes to 16%, 12%, and then 1%, again skipping a mess of text. If I make the font smaller, more text shows up on the page but I still can't access most of it. Unfortunately, the Kindle does not have a scrollbar (AFAIK) and the 5 way directional pad won't let me scroll down.
I'd really rather not read the notes on a computer screen. What to do?
