Have not seen Midnight in Paris, but I liked Hobo with a Shotgun until the ending. Rutger Hauer brought such a humanity to the role, which surprised me due to it being such a "Grindhouse"-style movie... although it was actually closer to a Troma movie than a grindhouse movie.
