Since the Newest Market Google changed the way the Market works, you will only ever see apps that supported by your hardware.

No their not, as a matter of fact it's even worse Amazon has no compatibility and no direct feedback to the vendor. You can buy an app that is not supported by your hardware and you have no way to get a refund or inform the vendor of any issues.

The update process is much much slower on Amazon so fixes will take months where in the Market they can be as short as a few hours.

Amazon does relive the user of some responsibility, I haven't had a virus or Malware on my Samsung because I'm careful what I download onto my phone. But virus and Malware are not the only threat, there is also apps that can steal your data that legitimately pass Amazon and Apples checkpoint and that can be accomplished on any platform, BlackBerry, iOS, Android.

The nice thing about BB and Android is they tell you which apps are requesting access to this sensitive information.
