Just another brain cell sizzling out!

OK - switching topics wildly again:

Philo Farnsworth was an American inventor and television pioneer. Although he made many contributions that were crucial to the early development of all-electronic television, he is perhaps best known for inventing the first fully functional all-electronic image pickup device (video camera tube), the "image dissector", which was crucial in the development of the television camera. He even won a patent infringement lawsuit brought by RCA.

1. What historic televised event used his image dissector to transmit images in real time to TV viewers? [and was considered by Farnsworth as the pinnacle of his inventing career]

2. He appeared on the TV quiz show "I've Got a Secret" in 1957 and stumped the panel. What did he win?
