That's exactly what happened to me. Same error and everything.
I sent an email to support they take 2 to 3 days for a response.
Thanks for letting me know it's just not me. I have two accounts with
two local TN libraries and it's happening on both and if it's happening for you too it must be a R.E.A.D.S. issue not just me. You may want to send an email to their support.
I too hope they are removed once expired. One ebook is expired tomorrow so I guess I have to wait and see.
