I used to gather books that I wanted to read as I learned about them and keep them on my reader, deleting books from my reader as I read them. When the list crossed 100, and I found myself more and more often searching out new books rather than reading from my TBR backlog, I stopped. Now I look forward to searching for a new book when I finish the one I'm reading.
