Aluminum - my mistake. I saw a silver-colored metal and assumed. :P
The problem is with off-gassing rather than touch, except in rare cases. A case might help a bit - unfortunately I cannot tolerate the materials standard cases are made from, with the possible exception if silicone. The hard screen covering is one thing that made the PB 360+ so attractive to me.
Is it just the +50 line, or do Sony's earlier models have similar hardware?
