In terms of the T1, this does bring up the question of "Apps." I know a video here said no Android, but Engadget says it was
confirmed to be Android-based.

It would be nice to add an app or two if possible, specifically reference-based apps or others which fit the e-Reader motif.
And in answer to why update from a PRS-505, to me the answer is pretty simple:
speed. I love my 505, but it's a dog. You're also getting a generational bump in screen readability.
