Thanks for your replies re 3G usage in Canada. I have two more questions, regarding the 3G model again, and that is shipping charges from Amazon. Did anyone buy the 3G model from Amazon.com and how much were the shipping charges. I know it's $189 there and $229 here, do the shipping charges equal $40? And the other question is in regards to the wall charger. Some earlier posts in this thread said it didn't come with the Kindle when it was shipped. Has this changed or do you still have to buy the charger separately? Their site indicates that to Canada, the charger is included.
