Well, and to put it mildly and to be sarcastic (because if I was not, seriously, I would cry about it)... persecution is not my favorite kind of interaction between human beings. And as I know really well about persecution in the USSR, and as I have heard of it in China from chinese friends, I am not too crazy about communism, which seems not to be able to dissociate the pure political aspect of the doctrine (which I personally still think is pure crap) with the ideological one. And it cannot because if it was not promising BS to its people, no communist system would live longer than a decade. I was in Russia, before and after the Glasnost, many time, trying to get family members out. My husband lived in Berlin, he is not that crazy about the Wall either. People being shot down just trying to get out = not cool.
OK, that's been done, and since religion is not a good one either... a good recipe for cheesecake, or a game of croquet, anyone ?
