I tested it too. It doesn't even mark the links as links on an html page, even if they go to places on the same page. So then I thought to notice if it's displaying the other html tags correctly, like headers and center, and it is. (I did a very quick test of something I had on hand. I'm not interested enough to do exhaustive testing.)
It is extremely easy to just drag and drop the html page into mobipocket reader and it'll convert.

Nope, while I'm unabashedly pro-Cybook Gen3, I have acknowledged there
are bugs as well as features that haven't been implemented to what I'd call acceptable. (I'm
still waiting for my properly-functioning Delete button, Bookeen.)
Yeah, if one is just trying to read ebooks on the Cybook, I can't see why one would stick with plain HTML when either Mobigen or BookDesigner will convert same to a decent mobi ebook. But I'm also sure there are very good reasons why some don't want to have to convert. (Hint, hint. I've already acknowledged some people have what are, for them, valid reasons. No need to bash me for
not understanding this.
