they've tried explaining it to these people and they just won't hear it. they're convinced its legitimate, that somehow theirs is real.
people falling for these "fell off a truck" or nigerian lottery scams have reached a point where i don't think the scammer should even be prosecuted for it. the "victim" should chalk it up to live and learn. personally i'd feel too stupid to even report it to the police.
