I haven't actually played with the 650 so I can't compare the two of them. I have however played with many other 6" readers, and the 350 is doing really, really well compared to them!
Especially now that I finally dares installing PRS+ (alternative firmware) and was able to use another font I can read on the "S" setting if the light is good, and on "M" when light isn't as good. I never, ever thought I'd be able to read that size lettering, and if it wasn't for the great screen contrast in the 350 I wouldn't be able to!
