Like, what if you can't save a page even though the wikipedia search gave you information on the word; if you try to download an unsupported format (anything but pdf, epub) for free from the web, it says "format not supported", no support for non western languages, so if you find yourself on a wikipedia page in a "weird" language, it's all just garbage or empty boxes instead of text.
Wifi is interesting only when you're near an access point. For example, you can't take this "to the beach" and still look up google and wikipedia...and not being android, you can't load local dictionaries and encyclopedias to use where there's no wifi.
