While TFT monitors do not suffer from heavy burn-in effects, they may show weak burn-in effects when diplaying the same image for a long time, though. (pixels permanently lose their ability to return to their relaxed state after a continued static usage profile)

Yes, the low power consumption is one of the major reasons why we all bought an reader using eInk technology, in the first place.
Anyway, it would be nice if we could have a battery with a higher capacity for the reader and, of course some option to turn the G-sensor off completely.
