I keep my unread books on my Kobo "shortlist". I track books I intend to purchase or have already bought on a google documents spreadsheet with data entry through a form. I have created a "public" version of the collection form in case anyone wants to look at it.

I don't use all the fields, all the time, but since I comparison shop before i plunk down my money, I often use most of them
