Porting Calibre 2 Android is probably technically feasible, but because of the huge number of dependencies (many from third parties) it would be a big job. I am not sure how good Android is at supporting Python - the language the main calibre code is written in. There is also a certain amount of code in C - again I am not sure of Android support for this.

The usefuleness of a port is debatable as most Android devices currently available are underpowered in CPU terms and far too short on RAM to consider running Calibre. That does not mean that they will not be up to it from a hardware perspective in the future.
