Ugh 1.7.1 when uninstalled deregistered me.
Ha! It auto updated me to 1.7.1 again. so I uninstall this time having it take to deregister page and then installed 1.7.0 turn off auto update and now it works.  I didn't have to redownload my books! 1.7.0 defiantly does not do that check 1.7.1 does that eventually crashes.

Thanks for that heads up. I downloaded 1.7.1 but I think I'll just keep 1.7.0.
