The version of For the Win that's not for Sony Readers is the one you want. It has Fontin embedded. You'll know it's working very easily. I do hope it works. But if not, then a bug report can be filed while Kobo is working on the firmware and maybe get this fixed one and for all (if it is indeed broken).
I just gave it a try on my KT and though the fonts appear to display correctly (I can read it, that is) the margin setting is not applied to this book, with the text occupying all the horizontal space on the screen regardless, and the page number hiding the last line(s) of each page.

To fix that last part, I have to go in the font menu and "touch" one of the settings (changing back and forth), then it seems to flush the page and display it properly.

There are also very few empty lines separating paragraphs...
