oops, I goofed the Galaxy note is by SAMSUNG so, never mind.

that Galaxy Note looks wonderful but unfortunately its HTC who don't seem to sell to anyone other than wireless service providers. Meaning the thing will cost $600 to buy a new clean unlocked copy.

I have a theory about this phenomenon but, meh, it really doesn't matter. But carrier lock-in for these things is why Apple has no competition in that category or size device. I would LOVE a device like that Galaxy Note but not for what it will cost unencumbered.

In the mean time thanks for that link. It is now on my very short list.
