Thanks for the links. Interesting. Looks like Sony has copied a lot from the Kobo Touch. But frankly it doesn't look like they have innovated much. It's the same 6" Pearl eInk screen, same IR touch screen, same features as the previous generation, just packaged a little smaller like the KT and priced $20 higher. Their main claim is that it's going to be the lightest 6" ereader at just under 6 oz. (tentative spec- nobody has one yet). But the PCWorld article is a bit suspect because it uses the wrong names for the Kobo Touch and Nook Simple Touch (calling them the Kobo WiFi and the Nook), and the wrong weight for comparison (e.g., 7.05 oz for the KT vs. the actual 6.5 oz.).
