A small part of my list is in the 300 titles I have yet to rename and move to my own directory setup then moved through Calibre to unencumber them & flag them as unread after which I move them to my Kindle into the needed collection.

But really I will likely never read through a third of my collection before I croak...I have over 2000 titles I want to read to varying degrees. But many are new authors who I might not finish should one of their books make me unhappy. I recently did that with Larry Corriea. After slogging through Monster Hunters Unlimited I could not muster the desire to read the next in the series and his other titles are poised for moving to the read only if stranded on a topic isle and building sand castles gets boring pile.

To me that is the beauty of the vast selection to which we now have at our fingertips. If I don't like it, dump it from my slush pile. Not very willing to read books that don't hold my interest. I do give an author at least one full read before the exile, mostly.
