The DRM will be the same as it is now. It won't be changing. The only difference is that to buy from Sony on your computer you'll need Reader Library and once downloaded, it's just a box standard ePub. Same as if you downloaded from Kobo. The tools used to strip the DRM from Kobo purchases or BooksOnBoard purchases is exactly the same.

If you use Calibre to manage your devices, then the plugins for stripping will be the same as well.
