Since the T1 can pinch-zoom, it'll fill in for quick pdf viewing. The advantage of 7-in over 6-in is for pdf, but I find myself reading less and less pdf (from 70% of the time to 10%) on the Reader. PDF just doesn't translate well on a 7-in screen for the long haul. Even reading it in landscape mode is not natural. I read PDF almost exclusively on an iPad now.
I've never been totally satisfied reading on 6 inches after reading on my 900. Was used only for ePubs. Every time I pick up my eReader I'm always "aware" of reading on the smaller screen. I paid $400 for the 900 and certainly would've paid $300 for the 950 if it wasn't tied to the Sony bookstore. I know you can sideload, but wasn't interested in paying for features I would never use. I never bought a book from Sony when I had my 900.
