Well, that didn't work for all those Android tablets, or for webOS, did it?
Now if you were the least bit curious, tyou would wonder why Android tablets failed so dismally, despite having all the right hardware geegaws.
However, instead of actual thought, you simply reached for those same tired anti-Apple slogans, eg. "Apple customers are sheeplike followers of a cult, being led around by that brilliant Apple marketing, etc, and ad nausem".
The whole "Apple is a cult" argument might have made some sense when we were talking about a few million Mac users, but now that there are 225 MILLION iTUNES ACCOUNT HOLDERS, its clearly nonsense.
I'm afraid that as an Apple hater, you need to update your game, mate. That Apple cult stuff is weak sauce.
What's noteworthy is that its clear that Amazon intends to ape Apple's strategy of controlling the platform from end to end by putting out these tablets. Why is that I wonder? Oh yeah, it works brilliantly, if executed right. Jeff has learned something from Steve. Maybe you should too?
