I love my 5" 350 and how portable it is for me to take with everytime I walk out the door no matter where I'm headed, and I'm sorry to see they're only selling 6" screens now. I'm also sorry to see full plastic housing instead of the metal front to help keep the screen from flexing and breaking (I would have cracked my screen about 5x by now if it weren't for the metal), but the tradeoff is lower price and less weight, both good things, and I could live with that if I decided to go to a 6".

But I absolutely hate that curved bottom, so much that it will keep me from buying a new Sony and keep happily clutching my 350, and looking for a spare 350 or 650 if I run across a good sale on one.

But for new people buying an ereader for the first time, this looks like a win, but only if Sony decides to actually do some decent marketing and advertising to sell the reader.

I should also mention it depends on the finish of the reader... from some images I've seen elsewhere, it looks like the high gloss finish you see common on HD TVs today. When I was looking for my first reader and tried a Nook, I hated the glossy white finish on it. While reading I constantly kept trying to tilt the reader to stop that glare. My eyes are really sensitive to light though, maybe that's not a big issue for others, but for me, it's a deal breaker as is the curved bottom.
