GPA here in the U.S. stands for Grade Point Average. A 4.0 is all "A"s, or a perfect score. 3.75 is damn close!

A GPA of 3.0 would be all "B"s, 2.0 all "C"s, and a 1.0 GPA would be a "D" average.
