heheheheh

Mate Vana Latte in my cup. Good stuff. I have been picking hot peppers, again. So far 2 1/2 collindars full and more to go. Going to pick some to bring into work.

So far we have dehydrated well over 2,000 peppers. Some are being saved for cooking throughout the year (the Thais) and some have been grounded into powder (Habanero, Bhut Jolokia, Devil's Tongue, Tabasco, Hot Cherry Pepper, Kung Pao, and Cayenne) We have jars full of different pepper powder.

The Hubby has made one insanely hot batch of hot sauce using Tabasco.

We have used many a bell pepper in dishes, pickled several jars of Chicago Sport, used many different hot peppers on pizza, in Thai, and in Chinese dishes.

We have made tempura.

I have brought a plastic grocery bag full of peppers into the office once a week for the last two months.

And the garden looks like we have yet to harvest a single pepper.

We have decided to cut down on the number of peppers that we grow next year. We now know the peppers that we use and the peppers that we don't (there are far too many to count) so we will have more space in the garden and the ones we do grow should produce more then they already are because they won't be over grown.
