The Fifth Sorceress by Robert Newcomb on my Handspring Visor in 2002. My uncle introduced me to Peanut Press, and I remember being amazed at finding an entire just released novel for free! I didn't want to pay for a whole ebook before I knew if I liked reading on a PDA.

I was reading ebooks almost exclusively when I bought my used Palm Tungsten that my first ebook on it was a non-event -- so I have no idea what it was. Same thing when I got my new Sony PRS-350. Although I love my Sony, I miss my smaller PDAs, and sometimes think about charging up the Palm and using it again.
