Ironically there has been a twist in behaviors. Apple usally is tight lipped about the upcoming produts and Google seems to be very vocal. While iOS5 has been heavily tooted, little has been said on Android 4.

Verizon is launching the Droid Prime around the same time the iPhone 5 is coming out. The Droid Prime will be a Verizon exclusive that will have Android 4 it will be interesting to see what the result is.

Ah yes, forgot the iPhone 4 was only the single core A4 chip. A move to a A5 doesn't seem unlikely (which are currently manufactured by Samsung).

Verizon/LTE I don't know. Don't live in the US. From all reports the battery life isn't great for these LTE phones? And it would also create segmentation between their US partners which they may or may not wish? I could see Apple going another cycle before LTE but I wouldn't be surprised either way.

re: Android 4, isn't it primarily about bringing the phone versions in line with the Honeycomb tablet orientated release?
