I suppose it's
possible, but I think it's rather unlikely. I probably use bookmarks more than most people, because virtually everything I read on my Gen3 are the books I've created myself, and I'm constantly using the bookmark feature to mark errors I spot when I'm reading, which I then go back and correct to create a new version of the book.
