more trouble then any advantage to me, what we need are glasses you can wear and the text is projected on them, you turn pages by eye movement. that's really the way to go....
If you have arthritic hands and holding a reader is going to be an issue, then pressing page turns buttons is also going to be an issue. So a stand will hold the reader and the IR touch will allow fairly easy (compared to physical buttons) page turns.
