Lie down and focus on your stress (or how you were feeling when you were stressed last). Then focus on where you are feeling it when breathing and put your hand on that spot. Keep focussing on your hand and the spot it's on. When you feel yourself calming down move your hand lower to where your breathing is then (it can be small steps or bigger steps). Repeat until you're calmed down, if necessary you can breath your hand all the way down to your legs although I don't know how you should do when your arm isn't long enough.
It's quite similar to the exercise I did which I know helps calm me down.
Right now I'm installing my new computer *again*. I got a phone call this morning that it was ready to be picked up. Luckily they already installed Windows and the drivers for me. I'm now copying back my files and after that I'm going to install software. They put in a new hard drive, hopefully that solves the problem and it isn't some obscure, hard to find incompatibility problem between hardware components (knock on wood).
I was very tempted not to name my computer after a character from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy but name it Murphy. I didn't because it might just be tempting faith.
