I've done everything I can think of and everything that I've found posted throughout the forums to try and get the android market working, but have had no luck.

I started off using titanium backup to get the market (and other google app files) from a rooted Droid 1 and had no problem getting them installed on the PE, but the market would never even open correctly. Over the past several days, I've tried using different market versions, but none did the trick. The error messages I get with the different versions range from "An error has occurred, Force Close", "A server error has occurred, retry, cancel", to "Server Error, Force Close".

Not once has it even gotten to the app screen. Most of this work has been done with the same backed up data from my rooted phone. Just different app versions.
I've also tweaked the fingerprint in build.prop to a few different things, but I think that only helps if the market actually opens, if I'm understanding it correctly.

I got my google account on the edge by using the youtube work around. Would that affect anything? I'm also using the tweaked firmware v.1.01.001 from here. I'm out of ideas here and any help would be greatly appreciated.
