Even if you get access to the GM, part of the iPad experience is access to the superior IOS ecosystem.
Finally, the bigger screen ( twice as big) just gives a better experience for games, video , and just about anything visual. Reading magazines are better: reading PDFs are better.
I think a lot of people with rooted NCs really like their devices ( and can pat themselves on the back for circumventing , for the moment, Google's restrictions) but they are pretty much getting what they paid for- about half the iPad experience , IMO.
1- there's always Amazon's Appstore if access to Google's stops

2- the only element of any ecosystem I use is the apps, so Apple has no advantage

3- a 10" screen means the tablet stays home because it's too big

4- my rooted NC is getting 100% of the iPad experience
