The tablet is considerably heavier than a Kindle, but I had been primarily using a Kindle DX, so the size increase didn't bother me all that much.

Using apps, and the fact that I really didn't like my previous phone, were what finally convinced me to upgrade to an iPhone. I can't imagine not having it now, but I really don't like reading on it.
I tried out a family member's original Nook, and it actually made me more convinced than ever that my Kindle is the right e-reader for me. The family member said that the Kindle had too many buttons for her (

). I'd still like to play around with the Nook Color just to see what its like, and to see the difference between it & the original. Store demos, however, don't really do e-readers justice.
