Yes, my Kindle was my first eBook reader, and I was quite excited to get it. As carld said, it gave me back reading for pleasure - something that had fallen off after I had kids, but I am not glad to have back again.
Now I get to experience the pleasure all over again waiting for my replacement Kindle (word to the wise - don't keep it in bed with you when you go to sleep!).
