Perhaps if this is a case of a race to death ... the reader vs. copyright laws protecting already dead authors ... and the author has already been dead 35 years and the rights holders can't be bothered to have the authors works in print in any medium ... it might be okay to make an exception and obtain one or two through "other" channels.
