Thanks, folks. Just a quick drive-by because I've had email alerts about posts in this thread and needed to say hello.

Sorry, KindleKitten that I've sworn a death oath to secrecy, but the wording of VivialdiRules' line above cleverly sums up the basics.

We've already caught the wild goose we were chasing. The challenge now lies in taming it. I've already taught it sit-up-and-beg and it can quack the gentlemanly rules of cricket ... one thing I can't teach it is how to play roll-over-and-die. So I'm gonna give up on that idea and now teach it a few more constructive tricks.
